Pretty Pinks: SS16 Trends

The summer season is always exciting in terms of both our girls and boyswear. We love to see all the beautiful bright colours making their way onto our shelves, from pretty pastels to bolder hues! The Spring Summer 2016 collections were no different, with sunny oranges, vibrant aquas and fresh whites appearing daily.

What we’ve been most drawn to this week, however, is the gorgeous range of pinks we have available, from across many of our favourite brands. From Butterscotch London to Mayoral, brands have been embracing pretty pinks in a range of shades. From soft pastels, to bold fuchsias, pink is definitely in, and we couldn’t resist picking out a few of our favourite pink items for a Pretty Pink edit today.

Butterscotch London have a stunning selection of pink dresses this season, perfect for a summer party! We absolutely adore the pink tutu dress, trimmed with pastel butterflies – what a gorgeous choice for a summer birthday! And the mix of pink and lemon in one of their other dresses is just beautiful – a perfect pastel combination for the (hopefully!) sunnier months ahead.

While they have included their fair share of pastels, like this pretty floral dress (top right), Mayoral have created a stunning selection of fuchsia pieces this season, from structured floral dresses fit for a special occasion, to pretty top and jeggings sets for a party or a day out!

And for the boys, Mayoral have included some really fun, vibrant polo shirts and shorts in a mix of shades. We really love those bright bermudas, they would be perfect for a summer day!

From Little Darlings, we have the gorgeous Princess Pinki collection, a beautiful range of dresses, tops and skirts, and playsuits in a mix of white and pink, with their signature bow and floral detailing. Abella have also embraced the pink trend, opting for pretty structured dresses with pink and blue floral prints and pastel pink bows.

So which end of the pink trend do you find yourself drawn to?! Are pastels your favourite, or are you a fan of something a little bit bolder? Let us know in the comments down below, and visit our entire SS16 girlswear collection here.
